ACED staff

Mrs Chhen Lang has been Deputy-Director of Association Cooperation for Economic Development (ACED) since 2009. For about four years, from 2005-2009, she was Executive Director.

She began as a volunteer field staff member for the organization in 1996, working in the Integrated Community Development program, then was promoted to Program Director in 2000. Throughout this time, she would work tirelessly to ensure the success of projects, revelling in a newfound sense of self-empowerment and leadership, and gaining knowledge and skills that would prove to shape her future. Her dedication to the cause was apparent to the ACED staff, who took her under their wing, trained her, and began grooming her for a more prominent role in the organization. She assumed her current position after graduating from Cambodia University with a degree in General Management. Mrs. Lang feels that maintaining close communication and relationships to partner NGOs, network groups, donors, and other relevant institutions with mutual missions is integral to fighting for social justice and against poverty. She welcomes contact from anyone wishing to share ideas, experiences, or advice.
